Post-Industrial Press has been owned and operated by Skip and Marie Jensen of Tacoma Washington since 1987. Their screen printing careers stretch back to 1972 when Skip quit high school because he was too busy printing tavern jackets to go to class. He would print the jackets, Marie would cover the prints with flock, and hang them to dry in Skip’s parent’s basement. In 2019, Skip and Marie will celebrate 47 years of marriage.
Specializing in hard to print and artistic screen printing, Post-Industrial and Ray Troll first teamed up in the 1990’s to produce several limited edition serigraphs. Then the opportunity came to team up on t-shirts and the rest is history. All of the Troll line of shirts and hats are screen printed or embroidered in our shop in Tacoma, but Marie no longer has to hang them to dry.
